Mamma Jamma was originally created for a special edition official Spalding basketball. The sportsman Albert Goodwill Spalding created the first basketball in 1894 at the request of the inventor of the game, James Naismith, and Spalding was the official ball of the NBA between 1983 and 2021. Its history in the game is deep and the artwork is meant to honor the most fun aspects of the sport. Additionally, this print tiles seamlessly. This means you can collect multiples and the edges will match up.
Mamma Jamma is a signed and numbered time-limited edition of 16-inch x 20-inch giclée prints on eco-friendly Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth paper. The edition will only be available for 48 hours starting at 8:00 AM PDT on Thursday, December 8th, and ending at 7:59 AM PDT on Saturday, December 10th. The edition is limited by the number of prints sold during those 48 hours and never reprinted. The release is in collaboration with Known Gallery and NTWRK.
